Killing bees on your the land you own can be one of the toughest home ownership tasks, especially since these pests can be extremely dangerous! How to Get Rid of Bees

Before you attack a hive, you will need to gather some supplies. You will need to gather up thick clothing that will prevent you from getting stung. Pretty much anyone is able to create yourself a a suit that will almost be completely sting resistant by using a lot of clothes. You should buy some things that can kill large amounts of bees, in an aerosol, and you should get multiple bottles! The Final thing, you will want find for yourself a few friends that can watch your back just in case something goes terrible wrong. Once you have everything ready just follow these simple steps:

 

 

Step 1: Find the Hive



This can be a bit of a challenge. You probably know the likely location of the problem location, but you will need to locate exactly where the hive is. The most convenient way to locate the bees made their nest would be to locate a few of the bees and see where they go. It is important to remember that it is likely that the bee hive is not where the entrance is. Don't forget to use a little bit of common sense! Consider leaving the large hives to the exterminators.



Step 2: Figure Out a Plan



You will want to make sure you consider everything you are going try to accomplish when you attempt to destroy the bee nest. You will want to be absolutely sure if you are to try to expose the hive if it is built inside of a wall. You are also going to figure out what your safety plan is going to be if the bees begin to swarm. You are also going to have to let your friend know what you expect them to do in case something goes terribly wrong.



Step 3: Gear Up



This is the step where you prepare all the things that you could possible need. You will need to have large amounts of some type of bee spray that will get the job done. You will also want to locate anything else that you might need, including ladders, friends, etc. If you are using any type of ladder you need to be sure that it is is going to be secure before you start assaulting the hive. Once you attempt to remove the hive, your primary goal should be to poison the nest with poisonous liquid and not trying to locate for a saw!



Step 4: Attack



Finally, time to tackle the nest! Attack the bee nest with everything, but always watch the situation. If the invaders become to large in number to control safely consider retreating! Keeping everyone safe is the real goal!



Step 5: Repeat



You are going to want to reassess the location for a few days and make sure that you killed the hive. It can happen to just destroy and remove the hive in the same week, but any damage you did to get rid of the nest needs to be fixed before more bees take up residence.



Step 6: Prevent



There are likely to be bees that are just not home when the attack is going down, and they are going to be really angry when they return to the nest to see it destroyed! The stragglers are going to leave after a couple hours, but they will not pose any problems. The major problem you are likely to have you need to worry about is if you had to remove something to attack the hive. You need to wait a few days before you fix anything destoryed during this project!
